Emperor Divers is excited to announce the appointment of Amelie Bourgeois as their new commercial manager.
In her position as new Commercial Manager at Emperor Divers, Amelie will oversee the sales and logistics departments. She succeeds Clare Armstrong, who has also been promoted, her new role being Chief Administrative Officer.
Amelie’s background is a perfect blend of diving expertise and business acumen. Her skills include sales, account management, and marketing. She holds a European Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Sciences and is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
Emperor Divers CEO, Alex Bryant, expressed his enthusiasm about Amelie joining the team. He is confident that her dynamic approach will be instrumental in the company’s commercial development.

Career path to becoming new Commercial Manager
Amelie came to Emperor Divers with a passion for diving that translates into her professional career.
“While international sales and marketing management in the construction industry was my previous occupation,” Amelie explained, “diving was always a hobby. I decided to pursue a career in the dive industry to combine my passion with sharing it with others and contributing to the sector’s growth.”
Previously, Amelie has held various positions within the diving industry, working her way up from deckhand to snorkel guide, skipper, dive instructor, and finally, cruise director.
“These experiences have allowed me to develop a strong understanding of exports, local regulations, and customs,” Amelie said. “More importantly, they have provided invaluable lessons in working across cultures and tailoring services to meet diverse needs and expectations.”
Amelie also highlighted her experience establishing the sales and booking department for Dune. This role subsequently provided her with a deep understanding of the Red Sea, Maldives, and Indonesia, along with the specifics of the diving industry in these regions.
“I believe my knowledge of both operations and guest expectations will be a significant asset in developing Emperor Divers’ activities and destinations,” Amelie concluded.
